So I have been struggling to get my personal life in order so that I can take off for a trip. I have a more spirited sense of adventure that my wife. RV parks and casinos while I don’t mine them I really need some places that have a bit more solitude….
So today was projects, simple little things but the had to be done.
- The Winegard Sesor antena handled had stripped the threads.
- Replace silver ware with something that has substance not the flexi crap that was on board. I guess I didn’t need setting for 12, 6 seems to make sense. The setting for four was never enough so dishwashing was require several times a day.
- New window frame for the door, that will have to wait since I didn’t bring a ladder. The glass is moving in the frame, the small tabs that keep the glass from moving have broke. Most likely from the last trip to Williams, AZ. I 40 can sure be a white knuckle ride.
I still have to do these things:
- I need to get under the front of the Motorhome and fix a couple of lite connectors that were knocked loose when we had our blowout.
- Clean out all the storage lockers from the stuff we don’t need, that nonsense sure adds up.
The other day I cleaned out our food lockers of canned food that had expired. What a mess a couple of cans of pears had exploded. Luckily we store out cans in rectangular trays about 14” x 9”. That way they don’t shift when driving, but they will catch a mess if the cans explode.
